Keep refrigerated or frozen. When preparing your chicken, keep raw poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards, utensils, and hands) after touching raw poultry. Cook thoroughly. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part should read 165ºF (74ºC).
