Directions Cooking directions: Servings - 1 - 2 - 6. Water (cups) - 1 - 1 3/4 - 5. Oats (cups) - 1/2 - 1 - 3. Salt (optional) - dash - 1/8tsp - 1/4 tsp. Make on Stovetop: 1. Bring water and salt to a boil. 2. Stir in oats slowly. 3. Simmer 3-5 minutes over medium heat; stir occasionally. Note: For creamier oatmeal, combine water, salt and oats; bring to a boil; cook as directed. Make in Microwave (one serving): 1. Combine water salt and oats in a medium sized microwaveable bowl. 2.
